Minyas

Minyas was the founder of the city of Orchomenus in Greek mythology. He may have been the son of Orchomenus and Hermippe, although other sources name Poseidon and Callirhoe as his parents. Various accounts name different women as Minyas' wife; it may have been Euryanassa Euryale, Tritogeneia, Clytodora or Phanosyra. The accounts also mention a number of children that he had, including Clymene, Presbon, Eteoclymene, Cyparissus, and the Minyades.
