Love Romances

Περὶ ἐρωτικῶν παθημάτων

Thirty-six brief stories of unhappy love, most of them ending in death, gathered by Parthenius as raw material for poets. Each story names the earlier author it comes from. The English is Gaselee's 1916 Loeb translation; the Greek is Hercher's text.
