Summaries and Fragments

Ἐπικοῦ Κύκλου ἀποσπάσματα

This collection gathers what survives of the Epic Cycle in Evelyn-White's translation: the summaries that Proclus made in his Chrestomathy, which Photius preserved, and the fragments and testimonies quoted by later writers. The poems are the Titanomachy, the Oedipodea, the Thebaid and the Epigoni, then the Cypria, Aethiopis, Little Iliad, Sack of Ilium, Returns and Telegony. References give the poem (1 to 10, in the order printed) and the paragraph of the translation, not the numbering of the fragments.
