Greek Mythology Explorer

Greek Mythology Explorer is a free connection that lets an AI assistant such as ChatGPT or Claude look things up in GreekMythology.com, an encyclopedia of about 700 pages on Greek gods, Titans, heroes, monsters, places and myths. Answers are short summaries with links to the full articles. It is read-only, needs no account or sign-in, and does not collect personal data from you or store your conversations; limited technical logs are described in the privacy policy.

How to connect

Server address (no authentication): https://www.greekmythology.com/mcp

  • In ChatGPT: coming to the ChatGPT app directory, subject to approval.
  • In Claude: add a custom connector with this URL (Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector).
  • Other MCP clients: choose Streamable HTTP and use the same URL.

What it can do

  • Search: Find pages by name, alternate name (for example a Roman name such as Jupiter) or topic, with a short summary and a link for each.
  • Figure card: A short summary of a god, hero or monster with parents, consorts, children, symbols, home and what they rule, plus links to related pages.
  • Family tree: Parents, children, consorts and siblings of a figure, each linked to its page. Marked incomplete when our data is thin.
  • Quiz: Up to five questions with answers about a figure, a group such as the Olympians, or a topic, each with a source link.
  • Media: The site's own long-form YouTube video and audio narration for a figure or myth, when one exists.
