Eteoclus

Eteoclus was the son of Iphis in Greek mythology, and one of the participants in the battle of the Seven Against Thebes. He was one of the seven leaders that attacked the seven gates of Thebes; he was assigned to attack the Neistan gates. He carried a shield on which a man was depicted climbing a tower saying that not even the god of war Ares could prevent him. In the end, Eteoclus was killed by Leades.
