"Over Gjölls vidstragte Sletter"

Various pencils on A3 Paper.

The title means "Across Gjölls far reaching plains".
In norse mythology Gjoll is the river that seperates the world of the living (Midgard) from the underworld (Helheim). It is said to be freezingly cold and filled with thousands of ice floes as sharp as knives. It has got strong similarities with the river Styx in greek mythology.

I hope you enjoy it.
