Eos class fast recon corvette Picture

Eos is, in Greek mythology, the Titan goddess of the dawn, who rose from her home at the edge of Oceanus, the Ocean that surrounds the world, to herald her brother Helios, the sun.

The Red Talons developed the Eos with technology adapted from the Peregrine class. Using mass cancelling systems to reduce the ship's effective mass to an imaginary negative value, it uses its plasma torch drives with effectively a thrust to weight ratio orders of magnitude higher than any modern system. Unarmed, and manned with a crew of three plus AI. The ship performs high speed flyby runs of target systems taking high resolution pictures with specialised photon scoops.

I took my inspiration from the SR-71, adapting its design principals into a future setting. The idea is that its not undetectable, to the contrary its fairly easy to spot with sensors once close, but by the time you know it's there, it's already long gone.
