Psalm 103:20 Praise the Lord Picture

Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. (Psa. 103:20)

This piece of art is a statement. We are all familiar with angels as part of our culture. Angels however are given many very different roles and interpretations, very few of which are correct. I want to set things straight for those who view this deviation. Angels are the servants of God. They are his messengers - not men - not babies - not women. They take the form of men to communicate messages to humans from God. Many events in the bible are preceeded by a visit from the heavenly host. Angels also play a large role in the ultimate fate of the earth which is prophesised in Revelations....Angels are not mythological creatures, neither are they creatures to be prayed to. They are servants of God like we are his children. Angels have freewill as we do. Satan was once an angel and he and many angels who supported his ambitions were flung from heaven - they literally fell from grace.

The point of this rant is make people aware that even powerful, beautiful, eternal beings such as angels are subject to the Lord of Heaven - therefore, we mere humans are also. You can't believe in one and not the other. So don't bring your worries, cares, anxieties and confessions to any angels or saints - take them directly to the father, who is the blessed trinity and the only thing you'll ever *need*

God bless you out there
