Yes, that's actually what Pluto looks like, the little wart-like blob next to it is it's moon, Charon (who is the twin brother of Thanatos, the man who takes you down the river in his boat in Greek mythology)

And just in case you've been living under some rock for the past year or so, they said that Pluto isn't awesome enough to be a planet. (I SAY WE KICK OUT URANUS D= it's not interesting looking and the only thing is does is provide grade-school amusement and giggles)

But yeah, the real reason is because the center of gravity is not the center of Pluto itself, it's somewhere between Pluto and it's moon, Charon. Goddamn astronomers.
