Ancient Deities Picture

I had to create an "Art Game" for my Art Ed. class this semester, which ended up being a board game using deities from different mythologies and a board divided into ancient civilizations rather than countries.

The most fun of the project was creating these guys.

Pan Gu is a Chinese deity who ordered the chaos at the beginning of the world.

Yacatecuhtli is an Aztec deity and the patron god of Merchants (which probably explains the pearls and snazzy hat). His name means "He of the Pointed Nose."

Thor probably doesn't need an introduction, but he's the norse/Germanic god of Thunder.

Sketched, inked and colored in Photoshop.

The characters, being hundreds and thousands of years old are probably public domain by now.
