Hypnos Picture

Concept art for a book project I have going on.
In greek mythology Hypnos (Ὕπνος) was the personification of sleep. Son of Nyx (the night) and twin brother of Thanatos (death).
His dwelling was inside dark cave full of poppies, where the sun never shines, with no door or gate so that the creaking of the hinges does not wake him up. Through this cave flowed Lethe, the river of forgetfulness.
Hypnos was always surrounded by a slight myst, and sometimes would turn himself into it.
Hypnos three sons were the dreams (the Oneiroi). Morpheus, Phobetor and Phantasos.
