Daphne Picture

Ahem, this shall start off my pieces of art based on Greek mythology. If you're not familiar with the story, the woman I sketched is Daphne, the daughter of the river god Peneus. Eros (Cupid) was mad at Apollo for insulting his archery and so decided to have some fun. He shot an arrow into Apollo, causing him to fall madly in love with Daphne. He then hit Daphne with an arrow that caused her to loathe Apollo. Needless to say, Apollo chased Daphne, who ran until she grew fearful and weary. She prayed to her father, who turned her into a laurel tree, saving her from her suffering.
Apollo's not in this picture, this was mostly done as a practice with some new Faber-Castell pens i got and
decided to try out =]. It's very rough, and sketchy, and numerous things are wrong with it. Feedback appreciated, and yea..
