Boreas Picture

Background Information:
Boreas, the north wind; one of the four Anemoi. Usually depicted as a bearded old man with winged feet, wearing a billowing cloak and carrying a conch shell. Associated with the constellation the Plowman. His Roman equivalent is Aquilo (however, in Ovid's Metamorphoses, the most complete Roman mythological work, the name 'Boreas' is still used).

Image Notes:
There's not much contrast in his skin tone - I disliked the original color and colorized that layer (which "flattens" the shading somewhat) and didn't bother retouching it. I had no idea how to go about shading his hair, and the background is exceedingly lazy and boring. oops.
