Aeolus Cruiser Picture

My second submission, this time it's a cruiser.

The Aeolus is the result of years of negotiations between the Gallente Federation and the Minmatar Republic regarding the creation of a joint strike force.
The ship combines state of the art technology from both sides resulting in a strong, versatile hull that can go toe-to-toe with any enemy of its class.
The hull is separated into 2 main parts, the front one housing targeting systems, an experimental armor repairer and all the offensive systems consisting of 5 medium hybrid turret hardpoints.
The second part of the hull is based mostly on Minmatar technology. This part of the ship houses a dual command bridge, as well as the capacitor and all the energy systems. The main engine is powered by a large solar sail located below the hull. There is also a small maneuver engine powered by a secondary, smaller sail.

The ship has now entered field testing stage, its capabilities surprising representatives of both navies. It is expected that the Aeolus will enter mass production at Roden Shipyards in a few months.
