Pandora's Box Picture

Info: Pandora's box.

In Greek mythology, Pandora (from Greek: Πανδώρα, "giver of all, all-endowed") was the first woman. Each god helped create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mould her out of Earth as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus' theft of the secret of fire, and all the gods joined in offering this "beautiful evil" seductive gifts. According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar (pithos) in modern accounts referred to as "Pandora's box", releasing all the evils of mankind— although the particular evils are not specified in detail — leaving only Hope inside once she had closed it again. This is my first attempt at drawing something in photoshop so please be kind. I don't really like how the box came out. I wanted it to look like a metal box, but I don't think I did that very well. I am however pleased with how the orb in the center came out.

I used a tutorial by ~scapermoon he used a different version of photoshop thatn I did so I had to improvise. Still I think it came out rather well.
