Khione - Chione Picture

In Greek mythology, Khione is a goddess of snow, was the daughter of Boreas, the North Wind, and Oreithyia, an Athenian princess whom he abducted. Her siblings included Zetes, Calaides and Cleopatra, the wife of Phineus. She was loved by Poseidon and had with him a son Eumolpus. In fear of her father's wrath, she cast the child into the sea, but Poseidon saved him and entrusted him to the care of Benthesikyme. The Eumolpidae in charge of the Eleusinian mysteries claimed descent from her, as the mother of Eumolpus with Poseidon.


Khione, is a goddess character cold, with a sharp and moody personality, always has a exprecion of seriousness in the face, and it seems that there is very highlighted emotions, nothing astounding. When angry can cause cataclysmic snowstorms, has the magical ability to control the weather that is related to the cold winter.
Even that even so Zeus nesesita's approval, to cause global climate change.
No leads at all well with Hestia, the goddess of fire, and has a rivalry with Persephone, the goddess of spring, eh even his own father, Boreas, the character is afraid of her daughter.
