Typhon Picture

Is a son of Gaia and Tartaros and a figure of the Greek mythology.

Gaia joined with the Tartaros to take revenge for the defeat of her children, the titans and giant, to Zeus. She bore the Typhon in a cave near Korykos in Kilikien in the southeast Asia Minor, so that he just as Zeus could grow up in his own youth undisturbed. He became as an indescribably hideous monster, shown as a giant with Snakes at the end of his legs.
