WIP - The Nereid's Keeper Picture

One of my latest projects, not at all near completion. The threading was the most difficult thing to do, I used a white sewing thread so I could see what I was doing before attempting invisible nylon. This necklace will have more added on to it, and may be up for sale after completion. I will not take reservations at this time, however.

Nereids differ from sirens or other sea nymphs largely because they are said to be friendly and even helpful to sailors. In greek mythology, there are fifty female nereids whom lived with their father Nereus in the Aegean sea. They often accompanied Poseidon and were known to assist sailors in surviving bad storms.
