Amphitrite's Escape Picture

I earlier drew Amphitrite in another one of my works, and I absolutely LOVED the dress I gave her, but it was in chibi so I decided to draw her again, with Delphin, Poseidon's loyal dolphin.
If you aren't familiar with Amphitrite...
Amphitrite, Ἀμφιτρίτη in Ancient Greek, was a daughter of Nereus and Doris - therefore a Nereid (just like our favorite Thetis!!). Poseidon fell in love with her and wooed her, but she fled in fear. Poseidon, upset from being rejected, sent his dolphin attendant, Delphin, to persuade her to come back from the Atlantic Ocean, her hiding place. She eventually came back to Poseidon and they were married, and had many children and lived happily ever after. Pretty much, that, in fact. They had two famous children together, as well as others, Triton the merman and Rhode. Amphitrite became Queen of the Sea - her name actually means literally "Mother of Triton".
Don't you just love Greek mythology?
