Pride of the Peacocks Picture

No surprise that peacocks are found throughout all manners of history and mythology. The Romans, Greeks and Hindu are among many who give this beautiful bird and his feathers some rich symbolism. For most the peacock symbolizes glory, vision, royalty, wisdom, kindness and compassion. According to Green mythology, Hera created the peacock from Argus and his hundred eyes, symbolizing the eyes of the stars or vault of heaven.

I had many of these to choose from and I selected only my three favorites to put up here--any more and I'd just be spamming you with peacock feather overload! Lighting on this was again just our table lamp and nothing more, the feather tilted just enough to pick up a sparkle from the light.
