Since Zeus has a part of Metis inside him, I thought it would be interesting if it actually affected him in some way. Hesiod says that ..."Zeus put her away inside his own belly so that this goddess should think for him, for good and for evil". So I came up with the idea that Zeus sometimes can see through Metis's eyes, which he sometimes manage to benefit from, but mostly finds a bit depressing.

Speaking of which, I've heard that people in general overestimate themselves and that that actually is a good thing, since those with a more realistic notion of themselves tend to suffer from depression.
