Meeting Death Picture

Woven by sages, held to the last.
Morpheus' calling, Charon as guide;
There's no use stalling, time for the ride.

At the Styx joining with the Nepenthe.
One coin is needed, fee of the dead.
Else waters receeded, so it is said.

I pray death be soft, in last hour;
The ferry aloft, to Hades' tower.
And so dreamer, dream. Let your soul fly,
As the Fates scheme a last lullaby.'
