Steampunk Hephaestos Picture

Yes Ares, yes, yes, yes, your Spartans are gonna have those thunderguns in good time for the arrival of the Persians... Yes, I know, I know.... I just have to fix Apollo's electric piano first... And Athena's... WHAT??? Yeah right, like you're gonna have it faster if you shoot me in the ass? Keep dreaming, bro!

A steampunk take on Hephaestos, the Greek god of fire, metalworking, stonemasonry and the art of sculpture. He was the son of Zeus and Hera and he was married twice, first to Aphrodite, goddess of love, a marriage which was childless. After divorcing her he married Aglaia and got the daughters Eukleia, Eutheme, Euthenia, and Philophrosyne.

He also had the son Erikhthonios with Gaia (the earth) an odd kind of conception, reminding of insmemination after a really really embarrasing situation. He was caught in the act of enjoying himself by his half sister Athena. And as he was definitely shaken by that, he spilled his seed on the ground (Gaia) who became pregnant and had Erikhthonios, whom Athena later adopted (!!!!). And I bet the Olympian tabloid press had the time of their lives!!!

The fembot character next to Hephaestos was called an automaton, and is one of the first mentioning of a robot-like being in litterature.
