Annabeth Chase Picture

This, dears, is my rendition of Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom and Civilized Warfare, from the series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," by Rick Riordan. I love those books; fast-paced, original, funny, and centered around one of my passions from a young age, Greek Mythology. Annabeth is definately one of my favorite characters, even if perhaps she's not the /best/ character. That would probably have to go to Thalia or Luke, or Mr. D. XD.

The reason her hat is covering her eyes is because, at the time of creation, I was under the impression that I couldn't draw eyes. Lo and behold, however, on my next drawing, I get the eyes nearly perfect. Whoops.
I'm not positive that I got the Yankees logo correct, but I tried. She's wearing the owl earings given to her by her mother (I think), and her camp neclace. I have a feeling I made up most of the beads. From left to right, the symbols are: Thalia's pine tree, a Trident, a lightning bolt, a leaping sheep (for the golden fleece), and a labyrinth. Tadaa.
