Neith: Creatrix Goddess Picture

Egyptian Mythology is rather popular, although seemingly lost in comparison to the Greek, Norse, and Roman pantheons. This is a picture of the Egyptian Goddess Neith, Creatrix, whom supposedly the Greek 'borrowed' and molded into their very own Athena.

She is said to have risen from the primordial waters and either A) gave birth to, or B) created, Ra, the Sun God.

This is my version of Neith rising from said waters. Upon her palm lies Ra, and behind her is the earth.

Neith reigned over Lower Egypt, I believe, and I do know that she is missing her Red Crown. I tried...but nothing seemed to work for the picture...merely against it.

I hope you enjoy.
