Daphne Picture

Doodling in class. For those of you unfamiliar with greek mythology, Daphne was a nymph who Apollo "fell in love with" (translation: wanted to bone) so he persued her but she "shunned his love" (translation: didn't want to bone) so she ran away, and when he was about to catch her she prayed to a handy dandy river god who was lying around nearby so he turned her into a laurel tree. Yeah. I think he decided he was going to take her with him anyway so he made himself a wreath out of her branches to wear on his head or something like that. Or maybe he just boned the tree. I don't know.
