Ariadne (close-up, detail) Picture

Ariadne is one of my favourite characters of greek myths. Her delicacy and vulnerability made her adorable, but I transcribed the story: my Ariadne is a self-willed, prescient and sober woman who has changed her mind as she cut the thread (her hair symbolizes the golden ball of thread). With her act she refuses to help Theseus (in the original story Theseus left her after finding his way out of the labyrinth following the thread). The meander means to refer to the labyrinth (however it looks like some Matrix movie design
