Great Lady Under Earth Picture

This is supposed to be Ereshkigal, the goddess of the underworld in Mesopotamian mythology. The text is from the tenth tablet in The Epic of Gilgamesh. I found several different translations in English, but none of them did quite correspond to the Swedish translation, so I simply just translate the Swedish words to English here:

The fame of man is frail like reeds.
The beautifil young man, the beautiful young woman
death takes them when life is at its best.
No one sees death,
no one beholds the face of death,
no one hears the voice of death.

Or something like that.
