Crossing the Asphodel Meadows Picture

An another drawing on the theme death and flowers. The Asphodel Meadows was the section of the Greek Underworld where most of the dead resided. The asphodel has edible roots, which were said to be the favourite food of the dead, and so the flowers were often planted on graves.

This scene is part of a longer story that I want to draw some day, but right now I'm too busy with other stuff.
