Quetzalcoatl Spirit Toy Picture

For IB Studio Art I made a set on nine toys based on the animal spirits of different Native American cultures. Each animal's design is based on traditional art forms and myths from cultures it is strongly associated. Like some sort of weird education toy for the children of nerds? I have no idea about my thinking process behind all this, honestly.

Quetzalcoatl is the famous feathered serpent of Aztec belief. I based his definitely on his animal form rather than his human, on drawings from the Codex Telleriano-Remensis and the sculptures on the facade of this Quetzalcoatl temple in Tenochtitlan. There's a bloody bone on his back in reference to the myth where he creates humankind by sprinkling blood (from his penis!) on the bones of our mythic ancestors.
