Mimick Dog - Due to it’s canine features and apelike disposition, some assume the Egyptian Mimick Dog is a cross between a primate and a poodle. According to the accounts of medieval European travellers, the Mimick Dog has shaggy, dark hair covering it’s apish body, a thick snout, and, like some primates, the clever beast has the ability to imitate anything it chooses, from sounds in nature to machinery and even human speech. The Mimick Dog is well-known for it’s abundant dancing and acting talent and though this performing pooch has become a favourite in royal courts, it is still often enslaved by peasants either as an inexpensive substitute for servants or merely for the sake of entertainment.
