The Chase of Philomela Picture

This is my final project for the Intro to Photoshop class I am taking. I wanted it to have a Pre-Raphaelite feel to it. Originally it was going to be printed on canvas. However with the limit of time, I had to print it on a high gloss sheet. Instead I added canvas texture to give it that feel.

It shows the myth of Philomela. She is in mid-process of being turned into a nightingale. Perched on top of the tree is Tereus, fully transformed into a hoopoe. I decided to use a nightingale instead of a swallow for Philomela just for the reason that I could not find a copywritten free image of one.
