Amaterasu, the sun goddess Picture

I drew this for practice. This is my rendition of 'Amaterasu, the sun goddess' from Mythology: Myths, Legends, & Fantasies. I'm not sure who the original artist is, but this is where I got it from. (Asian mythology, btw)

There is a story that goes along with the; Search for 'Susano-o the storm god and Amaterasu hiding in a cave.'
You may be able to find it.

I tried to not spend a whole lot of time on it, because I was trying to keep in mind 'this is supposed to be a sketch', but I always spend more time on things than I should because I like to make it as close to perfect as I can. (If I am able)

On a side note: I should have drawn it widescale instead of long, because the actual image has wider waves.

I didn't know what category to put it in. Drawings or Paintings. The original is a painting.
