Sovrani del Nulla - The Lords of Nothing

Gods, Heroes, Saints. They used to be the Lords of the world, mankind's Saviors, patrons and guardians, pure examples of virtue. But now people have forgotten them, they've left myths behind, put off sacred halos, and relegated the numinous at the edge of a pragmatic and materialistic society on the way of perishment.
Humanity gave up eternity in favor of fleeting contingency

Character: Viviane is the "Lady of the Lake" in Arthurian legend. She gave King Arthur his sword Excalibur, enchanted Merlin, and raise Lancelot after the death of his father. She embodies the spirit of the lake, and is a character similar to the nymphs of Greek mythology. Its name is reminiscent of a lakeside Celtic deities, and is probably the literary transposition. It is believed that the character of Vivian is in fact the Anglo Saxon goddess of the ancient cult that tries to survive the Christianization.
Viviane plays a major role in The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley.
