Entering the Labyrinth, to meet the beast within...

In Greek mythology, the wife of the King of Crete gave birth to a monstrous child. This child had the body of a man, but the head and tail of a beast. He was known as the Minotaur. The Minotaur was restrained within a complex maze, but every ninth year it was required that seven young men and seven young women of Athens be sent in to appease the Minotaur.
