"Myths of China and Japan" Picture

This was a graphic design assignment. Re-design a book jacket. The geisha by herself is also in my gallery [link] . The tree was meant to be a peach tree, but the page I got the base from was sometimes calling it an apple tree, and having never seen a peach tree, I'm not sure which it is, but it looks cool, so it stays.

Tree and geisha made in Illustrator. Layout done in In Design.

The original cover seems to be rather difficult to find online, so I can't link it. All of the text was taken directly from the original dust jacket. I used a bar code generator to make the bar code, but the numbers are those of the actual book.
