Myths Of Ancient Egypt Picture

This piece was inspired by ancient Egyptian mythology. First, it represents the falcon form of Horus, protetcor of the Nile, and god who took the human form of pharoahs. In the foreground, there is represented the Feather of Truth, against which the god Thoth weighed the hearts of those entering the afterlife. Finally, there are the alligator jaws of the grotesquely gerrymandered Ammit, a female demon who devoured those whose hearts didn't weigh well against the Feather of Truth (causing them to have not much of a pleasant afterlife).

These remembrances of antiquity were created within a single flame in JWildfire 2.23, converted in GIMP for dA system-acceptable upload format.
