Pandora's Box Picture

My version of Pandora's Box from the game Legendary.

Mythology: One of the most famous Greek myths is Pandora's box, which is very like Judeo-Christian story of Adam and Eve and the original Sin. In the Pandora myth, the gods were determined to punish humanity, so they created a woman named Pandora and gave her a beautiful box with instructions not to open it.
Pandora's curiosity was aroused. She wanted to know what was inside the beautifully carved chest, and it didn't take long before she found herself untying the knot.
Unfortunately, Jupiter had packed into the box all the diseases, sorrows, vices and crimes that afflict humanity. No sooner was the box opened than these flew out in the form of horrible little moth-like creatures. For the first time the world experienced anger and quarreling.
In the midst of all this, Pandora heard another voice coming from the box. She opened the box once more and out flew Hope. And so, though evil entered the world, Hope was also given to mankind to balance out the darkness.

Real Life: The reality was far worse, instead of holding all the woes of man, it held beast and monsters that we today say only excited in myth and legend. These creatures wold have become the rulers of the world today if it won't for the box's creation.
