In the Ennead of Egyptian mythology, Nut (alternatively spelled Nuit, Newet, and Neuth) was the goddess of the sky.Her name is translated to mean 'sky' and she is considered one of the oldest deities among the Egyptian pantheon, with her origins being found on the creation story of Heliopolis. She was originally the goddess of the nighttime sky, but eventually became referred to as simply the sky goddess [link]

I've always loves the gorgous shade of blue that newets skin is depicted as in traditional Egyptian paintings. She is a powerfull female deity with many layers to her personality. I always got the feeling there was more to her than we ever knew. I think she still speaks out as a goddess nowerdays as the night sky with its billions of stars is still a mostly unknown quantity. A mystery that c an still support a explination of spirit as well as science
