This painting was done on 90lb. cold press watercolor paper with a combination of water color pencils, colored pencils, and acrylic paint. It features the Egyptian Goddesses Sekhmet and Bastet.

Sekhmet is the lion goddess of war, destruction, protection,and healing. She is associated with the sun and favors the color red. She is the consort of Ptah and the mother of Nefertum.

Bastet is the goddess of cats, magick, and the moon. She is associated with the night. She is considered by many to be the domesticated version of Sekhmet. She is the consort of Anubis.
