Asgard - Hraesvelg Picture

Hräsvelg, the Corpse Eater

In the north lives a giant in the guise of an eagle. His name is Hräsvelg (Corpse Eater).

He is counted as one of big monsters of Nordic Mythology and I believe rightfully so. I don't think he got the name Corpse Eater just for flapping his wings, and I don’t believe he really looks much like an eagle.
