Wonder of Chloris Picture

"It is said that Chloris, the goddess of flowers, gave roses their name.
One day, while wandering through a forest, she came across the body of a beautiful nymph.
She asked the Three Graces to give the lifeless nymph brightness, charm and joy, and Aphrodite to give her beauty.
She then asked Dionysus, the god of wine, to give her a sweet, beautiful scent.
Zephyr, the West Wind, blew away the clouds so the sun god Apollo could shine his golden rays on the newly created flower, making it bloom.
And so, the rose was born."
