Indra: The God of the gods, the lord of the heaven, the god of war, the god of thunder

"He under whose supreme control are horses, all chariots, the villages, and cattle;

He who gave being to the Sun and Morning, who leads the waters, He, O men, is Indra."- (Rig Veda 2.12.7)

"Indra, you lifted up the pariah who was oppressed, you glorified the blind and the lame." - (Rig Veda 2.13.12)

The mighty son of Aditi, the lord of the heaven, the god of the gods, the god of war, Indra is the god of thunder. Indra is said to be having golden hair and beard according to Rig Veda. Rig Veda is mostly dedicated to Indra, and the manifestation of the universe. He sits on the throne of heaven (Indrasana) (, he mounts on his white flying elephant, airavat. He is the king of heaven, he is the king of gods. He is one of the 12 sons of Aditi. He is the vedic deity, who has been ignored for many years. Indra's glory shall remain as it has been.

इन्द्र श्रेष्ठानि द्रविणानी धेहि चितिं दक्षस्य सुभागत्वमस्मे।

पोषं रयीणामरिष्टिं तनूनां स्वाद् मानं वाच: सुदिनत्वमह्वाम् ।। (Rig Veda 2.22.6)
