Crescentoid Marrow - Tsukuyomi's Bow and Arrow Picture

When I started middle school, I remember walking through the halls when I came across this drawing someone had done for the mythology unit of their class. Their task was to create a visual representation of Athena, and I was absolutely stunned by this piece overall, but the part that stuck with me was this crescent-shaped bow. That's actually kind of what taught me how to draw bows, and now, as you can see, I've evolved my own skills enough to the point where I can create stuff like this myself.

I'm kind of regretting not doing more with the Nazca line motif the Moon Tribe has going on, but at the same time, I wanted there to be a connection between the sun and moon gods' relationship to divinity, which is represented through the swirling lines found all throughout Ōkami.

The bow is made of bone surrounded by white copper. All the markings were carved into the bow and lined with a metallic blue paint. All the arrows have the same composition as the bow, with the feathers belonging to an ancient crane and the crystals consisting of moonstone.

All in all, one of my better creations. I just hope you like this even half as much as I do. ^w^
