Asgard - Yggdrasil Picture

After Wodan (Oden), Vile and Ve killed Ymer and drowned most of the giants, they created the world from Ymers body. The world of the Nordic mythology is a tree named Yggdrasil. This tree contains nine different worlds, one being Asgård, the home of the Asa gods and another being Midgård, the home of the humans.
In the top of Yggdrasil sits an eagle. Between his eyes sits a hawk named Vedrfolner. At the roots of Yggdrasil sits a dragon named Nidhögg, chewing on the roots of Yggdrasil. The Eagle and Nidhögg are enemies. Between them runs a squirrel named Ratatosk, carrying insulting message back and forth between the two.
Yggdrasil gets water from three wells, Hvergelmer with icy cold water, Mimers well with the water of knowledge and Urds well, by which lives Urd, Verdandi and Skuld, the three norns.
Ygg is another name for Oden. Drasil means horse. So Yggdrasil is Odens horse. This might be a reference to Oden hanging himself from a branch of Yggdrasil to gain secret knowledge.

Edit: After submiting the original picture I came to the conclusion that it was a bit dull. So I added a bit of "cosmic background" and some runes.
