Iris Picture

First let me tell you how I did this one. I snapped pictures of the lights at home with my beloved Digicam, picked one which I thought was the cutest, and put my efforts to making it all look abstract with the focal zoom effect on Picnik.

The first thing that comes to mind when I look at it is the rainbow. So I'm naming my work after Iris, the goddess of the rainbow.

WIKIPEDIA says: "In Greek mythology, Iris is the personification of the rainbow and messenger of the gods. As the sun unites Earth and heaven, Iris links the gods to humanity. She went around with angel wings and a rainbow as a gown." The central precious stone is kind of her, and the colors are kind of her apparel. Too bad I couldn't put angel wings on the stone. Hahahaha.

Hope you like it.
