The Wolf Recieves the Deer Picture

"The Wolf Recieves the Deer that He Pursues."
(Korean). The stamp there is my name.

This is a project that I did at the end of last school year; I've only just had the time to scan it in. The style is mimicking that of traditional korean art. The red and blue symbolize fire and water (the symbols of which are on their heads) and is also depicting a part of a story (which seems to be a parallel to a Greek/Roman mythological story) between two Korean gods, one of which is seeking the other's daughter. The two colours also represent the Korean flag, which also represents dichotomies of the world.

Painted in watercolour.
(c) to TaintedRequiem.
