Mythical Domain Model Intro: Orion Picture

Hello~ So DarkQueen013 was kind enough to let me take on another model for her challenge and I picked the model based off of the Constellation Orion (which just so happens to be one of my favorites!).
So here is my model's introduction. I will warn you that it is rather long... I may have gone overboard with the backstory... Oops. There is also mention of death and hinted homosexual and poly relationships. So yeah... Please if you have an issue with this just message me and I will deal with it then. I promise nothing too nasty or "R" rated is below!!
So about the outfits from left to right:
1) Her standard model outfit
2) Her hunting outfit (or at least one of them)
3) What she wore to find her loves again.
Name: Orion

Gender: Female

Age: Centuries Old

Planet/Constellation: Orion the Hunter

Background Information About Planet/Constellation: Orion constellation is one of the brightest and best known constellations in the night sky. It lies on the celestial equator.Orion has been known since ancient times. The constellation is also known as the Hunter, as it is associated with one in Greek mythology. It represents the mythical hunter Orion, who is often depicted in star maps as either facing the charge of Taurus, the bull, pursuing the Pleiades sisters, represented by the famous open cluster, or chasing after the hare (constellation Lepus) with his two hunting dogs, represented by the nearby constellations Canis Major and Canis Minor.

The constellation Orion contains two of the ten brightest stars in the sky – Rigel (Beta Orionis) and Betelgeuse (Alpha Orionis) – a number of famous nebulae – the Orion Nebula (Messier 42), De Mairan’s Nebula (Messier 43) and the Horsehead Nebula, among others – the well-known Trapezium Cluster, and one of the most prominent asterisms in the night sky – Orion’s Belt.

The brightest star in the constellation is Rigel, Beta Orionis, with an apparent visual magnitude of 0.18. Rigel is also the sixth brightest star in the sky. The second brightest star in Orion, Betelgeuse, Alpha Orionis, has an apparent magnitude of 0.43 and is the eighth brightest star in the night sky. There are two meteor showers associated with Orion, the Orionids and the Chi Orionids. The Orionid meteor shower reaches its peak around October 21 every year.

Model’s Background:

“History has always been written by the victor. They pick what will be passed on from generation to generation – no matter how false the information may be. The past truths are rarely reveled, but I have had enough. I am tired of having my name be smeared; to have my story told in such a horrific manner. No. I will not stand for this any longer. Zeus be damned!

Who am I, you ask?

I am Orion.

And this is my story…

I am sure by now you are recalling the legend about how I was tossed up into the night sky by Zeus or how I tried to ‘rape’ Merope. I can tell you for sure that the second story is completely made up. The first legend, if you can even call it that, is mostly true.

I was once a mighty hunter, but I never used a bronze club. (I still have no clue why on earth Homer claimed that I did.) I stuck mainly with my dagger and bow. I grew up close with my cousins mainly Artemis and Apollo. We grew up in the Forests of Olympus and we all became talented trackers and hunters. While the twins went off and became Gods, I did not. I did not mind the status change for they were still my family and friends. When I grew older I became known for my hunting skills both among the Gods and mortals. It was a time that I look back upon with much fondness and pride.

It was on one of my many hunts that I stumbled upon them. They were playing in a clearing together and their beauty shocked me to my core. The seven of them may have all looked different, but they all moved as one. It was as if I was struck by an arrow of Eros.

It was later that I learned who they were: the Pleiades, the seven sisters, daughters of Atlas and Pleione, and companions to my dear cousin Artemis. I begged Artemis to tell me their names and she took pity on me. Maia, Electra, Taygete, Alcyone, Caleano, Sterope, and Merope were all Nymphs. Their beauty still haunts me so to this day…

Artemis introduced us and I knew I was a mess. I stumbled over my words, blushing like a young fool, and mumbling responses… yet they found it to be cute. Never had I been called cute before.

Our friendship and our love was not taken very well. All of us had our parts to play and none of them were to cross over. At first Zeus transformed them all into doves and sent them away from me. But he forgot just how good of a tracker I was. I found them. It took years but I managed to do so. Once brought back together they transformed back into their normal selves. For a while we were happy together. My lust faded and turned into true love and friendship with the Pleiades. I know a love like that is hard to understand now in this day and age.

Zeus was furious when he found out about how I tracked them down and restored their forms. This is where the famous legend was born. He scooped them up and tossed them into the night sky or so I was tricked into believing…

I know you must be curious to know how the Pleiades were put up into the night sky. Well sadden by their father’s death, the losing of our friendship and love, and the losing of their fellow sisters (the Hyades) they died.

When I learned of their deaths… I felt as if my world was dead.

It was by the God Hephaestus that I was put into the night sky to be reunited with my Pleiades.

It was not over the fact that he pitied my blindness (which never happened people like seriously please stop saying that it did) but rather the fact that he understood the pain I felt of a truly broken heart. He helped guide me up into the night sky so I could be next to my Pleiades once again.

That is what truly happened.

Now I have learned how to come down from my place in the night sky and walk again among mortals. Which is why I am able to share with you the truth of what really happened.”
