If you know your Japanese, then the symbols on the door should be a dead giveaway... that was actually a pun.. because they spell 'suicide'. Haha what a knee slapper!

Anyway;

-Aokigahara is a famous forest in Japan that I've taken a great interest in recently. This forest has a lot of deep history in their country. The forest is a popular place for suicides, reportedly the most popular in Japan and second in the world after San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. Statistics vary, but what is documented is that during the period leading up to 1988, about 100 suicides occurred there every year. That number since then has increase over 200. It's become such a normal thing that small rooms were constructed for privacy when committing this act of self.

Pretty darn interesting.
