This was something I worked out on tracing paper for a design for a table in my "Seven Ravens" children's story. This is for the part that supports the table top (don't ask what it's called cause I honestly don't have a clue). I incorporated an old, 14th century depiction of Yggdrasil, the World Tree of Norse mythology. There's an excerpt from the Grimnismal about the mythical ravens Hugin and Munin around the circular parts, which seemed appropriate. Also, the spoked design is a more simple design of the Nine Worlds in Norse mythos. The letters are something like initials to the names of these places (ex: AG for Asgard, AH for Alfheim, and so on). Anyway, I was pretty pleased with it, so I thought I'd post it.
